Integration guide
SurveyMonkey
Gives learners a link to your SurveyMonkey survey with the learner and course attached, and brings completed answers back to the learner’s record as soon as SurveyMonkey reports them.
What you need
- A SurveyMonkey plan with API access (reading answer details needs a paid plan).
- A private app in the SurveyMonkey developer portal.

Bodhaka Lumen asks for nothing beyond this list. Credentials you enter are encrypted with your workspace’s own key and are never shown again after saving.
How to connect
- In the SurveyMonkey developer portal, create a private app with the scopes above and copy its access token, client ID and client secret.
- In Bodhaka Lumen, open Integrations, choose SurveyMonkey, choose your region, enter them and choose the surveys to follow.
- Switch it on. The setup registers the notification at SurveyMonkey for you.
How to disconnect and delete data
- Remove the integration in Bodhaka Lumen. The stored token and secrets are deleted.
- Removing the integration does not delete the notification registered at SurveyMonkey. Delete it in the SurveyMonkey developer portal, and delete or deactivate the private app.
- Answers already brought in stay with the learner’s record in Bodhaka Lumen until your administrator deletes them.
To have any data that came through this integration deleted from Bodhaka Lumen, your workspace administrator can delete it, or write to support@bodhakalumen.com. See the Privacy Policy.
