Integration guide

PayPal

Takes payment for paid courses through PayPal orders and subscriptions, gives payments back, and receives PayPal’s notices so access follows the real payment status.

What you need

  • A PayPal business account.
  • A REST API app in the PayPal Developer Dashboard.

Bodhaka Lumen asks for nothing beyond this list. Credentials you enter are encrypted with your workspace’s own key and are never shown again after saving.

How to connect

  1. In the PayPal Developer Dashboard, create a REST API app and turn on the features above.
  2. In Bodhaka Lumen, open Integrations, choose PayPal, choose Sandbox or Live, and enter the client ID and secret.
  3. Add the webhook address shown in the guided setup to the app.
  4. Try the connection, then switch it on.

How to disconnect and delete data

  1. Remove the integration in Bodhaka Lumen. The stored client secret is deleted.
  2. In the PayPal Developer Dashboard, delete the app or its secret and its webhook.
  3. Payment records already created stay in Bodhaka Lumen and in PayPal as financial records.

To have any data that came through this integration deleted from Bodhaka Lumen, your workspace administrator can delete it, or write to support@bodhakalumen.com. See the Privacy Policy.
