Integration guide

Razorpay

Takes payment for paid courses through Razorpay payment links and subscriptions, gives payments back, cancels subscriptions and receives Razorpay’s notices so access follows the real payment status.

What you need

  • A Razorpay account with API access.
  • A key ID and key secret.
  • A webhook added in the Razorpay Dashboard.

Permissions requested and why

Permission or scopeWhat it allowsWhy it is needed
Key ID and key secretFull API access for the accountRazorpay keys are not limited by scope. They are used only to create payment links and subscriptions, refund payments, cancel subscriptions and read their status.

Bodhaka Lumen asks for nothing beyond this list. Credentials you enter are encrypted with your workspace’s own key and are never shown again after saving.

How to connect

  1. In the Razorpay Dashboard, open Account and Settings, API Keys, and generate a key.
  2. In Bodhaka Lumen, open Integrations, choose Razorpay, and enter the key ID and key secret.
  3. Add the webhook address shown in the guided setup in Razorpay, and enter the webhook secret back in the setup.
  4. Try the connection, then switch it on.

How to disconnect and delete data

  1. Remove the integration in Bodhaka Lumen. The stored keys are deleted.
  2. In the Razorpay Dashboard, regenerate or delete the key and delete the webhook.
  3. Payment records already created stay in Bodhaka Lumen and in Razorpay as financial records.

To have any data that came through this integration deleted from Bodhaka Lumen, your workspace administrator can delete it, or write to support@bodhakalumen.com. See the Privacy Policy.
